Shamoon Sultan is the founder of Weaves Corporation Limited, a retail company in Pakistan. Since founding Khaadi in 1998, Shamoon has overseen a rapidly growing retail company which includes fashion apparel, food and beverages and social entrepreneurship.

His vision was to revive the ancient craft of handloom and reinterpret it within a more contemporary, fashion—focused context. Shamoon’s innovative retail strategy and responsiveness to trends and consumer demand have turned the company into a global retailer, with over 45 stores across Pakistan, UAE, UK and US. Year after year, through his business acumen, Shamoon continues to transcend boundaries and deliver a dynamic pioneering retail experience across the globe.

Shamoon’s reputation as one of Pakistan’s most influential CEOs is solidified by the IFC (a member of the World Bank Group) investment of $25 million in the organisation for a minority stake, to accelerate growth plans.
